Happy New Year everybody!

It's also my first year anniversary of having an account on Newgrounds. I made an account on December 31st 2020, and spent almost that entire day archiving old artworks here, so that they wouldn't show up for 2021's art gallery.

Anyway... one year of Newgrounds. Yeah, I haven't made much of an impact yet, have I? Barely 20 watchers, and little to no interaction on an average session here.

I'd like that to change! I plan on spending more time on this website in 2022. I'll stop treating this place like second fiddle to my DeviantArt account. Maybe I'll try actually seeking out other small artists here instead of the big ones advertised at the bottom of the page, or perhaps advertise myself in the art forums? I'm sure there must be someone here, besides my DeviantArt followers, who would enjoy my art. Somebody on the DA forums said my art style even reminded them of Newgrounds, so it is quite ironic that I am so invisible here so far.

I'm back from my hiatus! I think my assessment might have gone okay, and I enjoyed my break.

Already dumped a few new artworks here. Of particular note, are my Tasque Manager fanart (she's all the rage right now!), and my Fnuzzlee HD artwork (a remake of an older picture, to celebrate the anniversary of my most popular OC).

I'm going to be on a hiatus next month, due to focussing my attention on the final report for my uni course. This is the final assessment of my final year, so it is pretty important and I don't want to do badly! After that I'll probably have a very short holiday...

I should be back again in October in time for Halloween to share some spooky stuff with you!

So, I've been on this site a few months now. I started out mostly just using it as a place to archive my old artworks, much of which I removed from DeviantArt, but lately I have been treating this place as a secondary platform for my recent artworks too.

However, I am still far larger and more active on DeviantArt. I'd like to be more active on Newgrounds but... well, I haven't made much of an impact on this community so far. Maybe I don't understand Newgrounds' culture? It is very hard to get noticed, even when scouted. Perhaps things will change with time, but, I dunno...

I'll continue to upload here once every so often (maybe I'll try once every month or two), but if you have a DeviantArt account and like my art, you'd probably be better off checking me out there. If I ever manage to achieve a decent amount of watchers, I'll start taking this place more seriously though.

I am very grateful for the few fans that I do have here mind, so, thanks! If you have any suggestions as to how to get noticed on this site, I'm all ears!
