LiquidFreakStudios
Better known as LiquidFrogStudios on DeviantArt. Hobbyist artist and entertainer. This site hates me though...
I mostly draw fanart & furry girls right now, but I have a bolder ambition of creating my own multimedia franchise, especially video games.

That's not right how they can just de-scout you without saying anything

It's not right, but sadly there's nothing stopping them from doing so. I'll probably try asking a mod if I can be made scoutable again some time soon, but I kind of doubt they will reinstate me, especially considering I'm not a paying supporter...

That's why i quit from this site already, like i post the same as on deviant art and i don't get my art noticed, and ik i'm not the most active user in both sites but i got more followers on DA in less time than here
Is it calles newgounds everything by everyone, but if an admin doesn't like your art no one will ever see it :/

Yeah, it's way easier to build a following on DeviantArt, whether or not you are scouted. And good point, it's less "everything by everyone" now, and more "the approved artworks by the acceptable artists".

yikes, wonder if it happened to me too cuz everythign dies here, it sucks, I have no intrest in using DA and insta is still an up hill climb to get any interaction on. modern internet sucks.

It's quite possible I'm afraid. I'm probably one of the few who has gone to the trouble of investigating, but who knows how many people have been descouted without even being notified... No wonder the front page artists are so often the same people getting featured over and over again. Unless you are one of the chosen few who the art staff here like, your chances of being noticed on this elitist platform are next to none...

Yeah, so many websites now, all with so many problems... and probably not a single "good" website out there. The internet really has declined a lot over the past few years...

this is a sucks, but it reminds me of a problem I have too, for example, I have an animation that on TikTok has 5K likes and on YouTube it has more than 860 likes, but here on Newgrounds it only had 1 like. also, I've never had a frontpaged submission.

most of the people who like my animation on other social networks (YouTube and TikTok) are from Brazil (it makes sense because I'm brazilian). sometimes i think that each site where I am present has a different audience.

besides, these days here on Newgrounds there was a user who hated my animation (gave me 0 stars) because I was dubbing in Portuguese (which is my native language, there are many Americans who think that Brazilians speak Spanish, which is not true) and commented to me that my language is a fake language (fake spanish). in other words, in addition to elitism, I was also the target of xenophobia. it is complicated grow on this site :(

Yeah, it really stinks... I hate being set back, not due to the objective quality of my artworks or my ability to produce content most people enjoy, but just because the enlightned staff don't like what I make so NOBODY gets to see it! Not only is my stuff never frontpaged, it won't show up in the Art Portal, or even tags when people click on them. How on EARTH are people even supposed to find my art?!

That just goes to show what a weak-ass platform this site is for creators looking to find an audience, given that both TikTok and YouTube give you so much more exposure and growth compared to here with the exact same content. I really should start posting to my YouTube soon, once I have the right software to make the animations I want to create...

Yeah, I suppose that makes sense: certain kinds of content (like comics and animations) are more understandable in your own native language. I don't know how many people from Brazil are on Newgrounds, but I've seen plenty on DeviantArt and YouTube. And yeah, I learnt the hard way that being popular on one website isn't always going to translate into success on another site. I guess every platform has its own unique community with its own set of requirements to fulfil, and algorithm to handle. Or NO algorithm, in the case of this joke of a website...

That sounds like trolling behaviour to me. Sorry you had to deal with that xenophobic behaviour... From my experience, people on this site (not all of them, but many of them) generally aren't as friendly or polite as they are on DeviantArt. Not that there aren't awful people on that site too, but not as many, especially considering the relative sizes of the communities.

@LiquidFreakStudios yes, i agree with you
